To align with our mission to improve teacher pay, The V Foundation of South Louisiana launched our first-ever Teacher Appreciation Day of Giving on May 5, 2025. This campaign took place during Teacher Appreciation Week as The V Foundation’s new annual focused day of giving, replacing our previous participation in the iGiveCatholic campaign in the fall.

This special campaign was dedicated to celebrating and supporting the incredible teachers who shape the lives of students at Vandebilt Catholic High School and beyond. Our goal was $30,000, and thanks to your generosity, we raised $8,755. Every dollar contributed went directly toward our mission of growing our endowment aimed to supplementing teacher salaries, ensuring that Catholic education at Vandebilt remains strong for generations to come.

A Week of Gratitude and Stories

Leading up to the Day of Giving, we released a series of student testimonial videos throughout Teacher Appreciation Week. Each day highlighted a different perspective on the impact teachers have had on their students’ lives:
